I'm very sorry that I haven't been able to visit you this year, but I feel lucky to have seen you every time I went back to Wuxi. I'm grateful that I had the privilege of being your granddaughter. I learned so much from you and Nai Nai. I remember the poems which you used to recite and the summer days that I spent at your apartment practicing calligraphy. You shared with me all those beautiful stories about China from centuries past and made my childhood that much more rich and beautiful. I will always remain Chinese in heritage and in my heart. I will learn more about China and keep up with world events. I will always try to make you proud and keep your name and legacy alive through my children and future generations. I love you dearly.
